Our very own Devon Grant and Kelly Belvin have earned their certifications from the Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA) as Gate Operator Installers. These certifications have been effective since March 1, 2019.
These certifications mean that Devon and Kelly are recognized as individuals who can document training and demonstrate a high degree of knowledge and expertise in the installation and service of automated gate operators.
Not only did Devon and Kelly have to demonstrate and document field experience, they also had to pass a comprehensive written examination, covering all aspects of gate operator installation, including electrical basics, gate and operator safety standards, proper installation of loops and safety.

IDEA is a non-profit organization seeking to ensure safety and high professional standards in the door and access systems industry.
The IDEA’s accreditation is endorsed by the Door and Access Systems Manufacturers Association (DASMA) and the International Door Association (IDA).
